Warranty
EasyCare, Inc. Warranty and Product Return Policy:
End User Instructions) EasyCare, Inc. offers a 90 day ( from date of purchase ) repair or replacement guarantee on quality and workmanship for all merchandise manufactured under the EasyCare or Old Macs label. Please keep your original proof of purchase documents during the warranty period. While this guarantee is generally very broad in nature, it does not cover abnormal wear, misuse or abuse.
Products returned for evaluation must be washed clean and free of debris, dirt, sand and manure. Please wash the boots in warm soapy water and sun dry.
Failure to return clean product will result in product (s) being shipped back at senders expense or a $10.00 cleaning fee will be assessed.
Damage inflicted by omnivorous horses, rodents or other unusual abuse is not covered. If you have purchased a Horse Boot product, and your boot fails during warranty, it is generally a minor hardware issue. Please bear in mind, that most components of any of our horse boots are either replaceable or repairable. This includes wire laces, cables, buckles, gears, rollers, screws and straps. Many repairs can be easily accomplished with simple household tools.
Depending on the individual circumstances, EasyCare will either provide the repair parts for your use, or ask that you return the boots to us for evaluation. We will then repair or replace at our discretion. Specifically:
1. Returns for credit only (refund of purchase price only): Products must be in new, in unused condition, free of dirt and wear marks.
It is your responsibility to evaluate the fit of your new product in a manner where you may return it in new condition if you have doubts about the fit. Be certain that you know the return policy of product purchased from dealers other than direct from EasyCare (the manufacturer). EasyCare will not give credit for product purchased elsewhere.
Return to point of purchase in that circumstance. Also, all brochures, inserts and/or free gifts must accompany returned items.
2. Exchanges of new product (size or color issue): EasyCare will only exchange NEW items with same product style and model. for same product when requested with NEW items only. You may exchange for a different size or color exchange only, no exceptions. If you wish to have a different style of horse boot, etc., you must return new item for refund (original point of purchase) and then purchase your new choice.
3. Warranty failure (used product that is within 90 days of purchase): EasyCare will either provide repair parts directly to you, or repair/replace after our evaluation. Please note addendum below if you are an Australian customer of Easycare Down Under.
4. Not under warranty: (over 90 days or no proof of purchase receipts): Repair parts may be purchased from your local dealer or EasyCare, or product may be returned for evaluation and possible repair at the discretion of the dealer(parts, labor and freight charges will apply).
Freight charges (outside warranty period): Freight charges to and from EasyCare Down Under for repairs, exchanges and items outside the warranty period will be the purchasers responsibility.

Proof of purchase (even if the boots were purchased through a professional trimmer) will need to be presented when the item is returned for replacement/repair. Please send return the product to Easycare Down Under, P.O. Box 5020 Cobargo NSW 2550 but phone first and speak to our staff. 02 6493 6955 business hours only.
Returns for product that is outside warranty or does not have proof of purchase will be refused unless prior arrangements have been made with Easycare Down Under.
If your boots were purchased and fitted by a professional trimmer:
Please note the trimmer must be an accredited Easycare Down Under Boot distributor and have issued you with a receipt for the boots at time of purchase.
For warranty issues arising from boots supplied by your Professional Hoof Care provider and sourced from Easycare Down Under it is still necessary to return with your boots, a dated receipt from that particular Hoof Care Provider (or similar proof of purchase).
If your Hoof Care Provider returns the boots for you be sure they enclose your postal address and a note detailing why the boots are being returned, so we can then return the product directly to you.
Do it yourself! Most components of any Easycare horse boot are either replaceable or repairable. This includes wire laces, cables, buckles, gears, rollers, screws and straps. Many repairs can be easily accomplished with simple household tools instead of returning the entire boot. This often avoids posting the boots back and forth, and gets the customer out riding again more quickly! Ring us to discuss this option. 02 6493 6955 business hours only.

ITEMS OUTSIDE WARRANTY TIME - (over 90 days from date of purchase) or WITHOUT PROOF OF PURCHASE: Charges for repairs, exchanges, and labour will be incurred. For items outside the warranty return postal charges will also be the responsibility of the purchaser.
