Warranty & Returns

Product sourced from Easycare Down Under is backed by the manufacturers' guarantees (30 days from date of purchase for exchanges for sizing and 90 days for exchanges due to manufacturing defects. We believe that the Easycare Inc. warranty is one of the very best when it comes to hoof boots.

Note: Only product purchased through Easycare Down Under in Australia may be returned to us for warranty issues.   If you have purchased elsewhere please return your product to the point of purchase.

Australian customers note your consumers rights under the warranty sit alongside the consumer guarantees as provided by Australian Consumer Law.  

Return Policy for Boots sourced from Easycare Down Under

Any boots & accessories returned for assessment due to warranty issues must be clean and free of manure, urine & dirt. To assess them we need to handle them. The boots are washable.  If they are dirty please clean them prior to posting them to us.  If they are in a smelly & dirty state a cleaning fee of $20 will be charged prior to examination.  

 

Note:    Sizing issues are not a boot fault. 

We offer best advice based on the sizing charts and the manufacturer's advice but we are not physically there to measure your horse or to note hoof deformities which may influence boot fit or influence boot wear.  If you feel you may need to exchange for sizing be sure to assess it as soon as you receive it, keep the boot clean and fit it on a surface that will not mark the sole.  Boots returned for sizing exchanges must be in an unused condition.

Sizing Exchanges must be returned within 30 days of purchase. We are happy to exchange for sizing issues but all postage costs for the return of new product & resending another boot will be borne by the purchaser.

Manufacturing Defect:     If you are returning a boot due to a manufacturing defect, (within the 90  day warranty period that applies to manufacturing defects) and after inspection, the company deems the product faulty, then a replacement will be sent to you postage free. 

Refunds:     If customers would like a refund and not an exchange products must be in new, unused condition, free of dirt and wear marks and returned with all packaging materials etc. Bank Fees will apply for refunding to credit cards.

 

What do do prior to returning your product:

Prior to returning your boots please contact the office on 02 4457 3022 and notify us of your intention to return.  WHEN POSTING YOUR BOOTS INCLUDE A NOTE STATING WHY YOU ARE RETURNING THE BOOTS AND THE TAX INVOICE NUMBER ON YOUR RECEIPT.  If we are unable to identify the owner of the return we are not able to process your request.

Please contact us by phone first prior to posting the boots back as often a simple replacement part can be sent to you to speed up the process. 

Note:  Easyshoes, Glue ons & Flip Flops must be returned in an "as new" condition with no glue residue or wear evident.

If you are not completely satisfied with this product for any reason, EasyCare will gladly refund your purchase price (excluding shipping and handling) within 30 days of purchase. Easycare offers a 90 day repair or replacement warranty - for all hoof boots (purchased as new) manufactured under the EasyCare label. Please register your product at http://www.easycareinc.com/warranty_reg.aspx and keep your original dated receipt(s) as proof of purchase during the warranty period.

If a boot fails during warranty, it is generally a minor hardware issue. Please bear in mind that most components of EasyCare hoof boots are either replaceable or repairable. This includes wire laces, cables, buckles, gears, rollers, screws and straps. Most repairs can be easily accomplished with simple household tools. Depending on the circumstances, EasyCare will send you repair parts, or ask that you return the boots to us for evaluation. While this warranty is very broad in nature, it does not cover wear (including sole breakthrough when worn over horseshoes), misuse, abuse, factory seconds, bargain bin items, or boots purchased as used. Products returned for evaluation must be clean, dry and free of debris, dirt, sand and manure. Damage inflicted by omnivorous horses, rodents or other unusual abuse is not covered. Altering boots will void the warranty.

Therapy boots (EasySoakers and RX boots) are meant to be used over bare hooves. Wearing a therapy boot over shoes will void the warranty but can be done at your discretion.

Returns must be authorized before sending and must be returned with an RMA number. Contact EasyCare directly for all warranty issues at 1-800-447-8836 to receive an RMA number.

Specifically:

  1. Returns for credit only (refund of purchase price only): Products must be in new, unused condition, free of dirt and wear marks. It is your responsibility to evaluate the fit of your new product in a manner where you may return it in new condition if you have doubts about the fit. Be certain that you know the return policy of product purchased from dealers other than direct from EasyCare (the manufacturer). EasyCare will not give credit for product purchased elsewhere. Return to point of purchase in that circumstance. Also, all brochures, inserts and/or free gifts must accompany returned items.
  2. Exchanges of new product (size or color issue): EasyCare will only exchange NEW items with same product style and model for same product when requested with NEW items only. You may exchange for a different size or color exchange only, no exceptions. If you wish to have a different style of hoof boot, etc., you must return new item for refund (original point of purchase) and then purchase new choice.
  3. Warranty failure (used product that is within 90 days of purchase): Contact us at 800-447-8836 800-447-8836. EasyCare will either provide repair parts directly to you, or repair/replace after our evaluation. Items must be returned to EasyCare at the consumers cost with original receipt. EasyCare will return the items via ground service (UPS or FEDX) free of charge. Requests for faster shipping service will be at the expense of the consumer.
  4. Not under warranty (over 90 days or no proof of purchase): Repair parts may be purchased from your local dealer or EasyCare, or product may be returned for evaluation and possible repair (parts, labor and freight charges will apply).
  5. Call for an RMA number (under warranty or not): Returns must be authorized before sending and must be returned with an RMA number clearly written on outside of packaging. Contact us at 800-447-8836 800-447-8836 to receive an RMA number. Returns will be refused without an RMA number on outside of package.
  6. Freight charges (outside warranty period and for international customers): Freight charges to and from EasyCare for repairs, exchanges and items outside the warranty period and for international customers will be the purchaser's responsibility.
